Droll Yankees A-6 Bird Feeder is classic. The original tube bird feeder, invented by Droll Yankees in 1969. Updated with Droll Yankees' Ring Pull feature, this is the easiest to clean of any tube feeder on the market. Just pull the ring in the feeder and withdraw the metal rod tha runs through the center of the tube, and the feeding ports come free for easy removal and cleaning. Reassembly is made just as easy with the interlocking port design and guide holes for the perches.
The clear, UV stabilized polycarbonate tube resists yellowing with age and has a seed capacity of about 1 pound of seed. Its six reinforced seed ports and perches allow a large number of birds to feed at once. The internal seed baffle design helps ensure that birds can access all the seed and the base is threaded to allow easy addition of a seed tray and other accessories. The metal cap flips open for easy filling and this bird feeder can be hung by the included heavy-duty metal loop hanger or pole mounted.
